Hi there, can someone help me with the sizing? The only real shoe I have is a redwing Beckman in size 10 which I think is just a bit large for me. Probably 9.5 would have fit me a bit more snug. Any advice on the shoe size I should get here ? Thank you!

sajezzEverything I've read and asked questions about seems to indicate that true to brannock size is the way to go. I went to the AD store to try on the Dalton boot (also 511 last)and the fit in cushioned socks in my Brannon size felt amazing.

GooblesThanks for the replay! My only problem is that I don't have a brannock device where I live, that is why I wanted to compare my red wing

sajezzAny shoe store should have one. I think it is worth making the drive to a place with one to confirm your size before you buy some expensive shoes online.

GooblesUnfortunately, I did go to several but non of them have it, they all have a plastic device which is more of a ruler for the length than a brannock. I dont live in the US, Canada or the likes

sajezzPeople frequently go one whole size down for the Beckman (check out this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/goodyearwelt/comments/5ibtzh/manufacturer_last_sizing_thread/). If 9.5 would have been your best Beckman fit, then your Brannock is likely 10.5. People go TTS for the 511 last; if you're size 10.5 in Brannock, then 10.5 for the chukka. I don't know about your width.
CAVEAT EMPTOR: This is more speculation than advice, I can't give definitive sizing advice without your Brannock measurement as a touchstone.

bhavHere is a chart that should help convert actual measurements to Brannock. https://brannock.com/pages/conversion-chart
I really would stress finding some place with a Brannock device just to be sure. I'd go to the highest scale footwear place in your area (potentially even a women's footwear store) just for confirmation.
