I'm a big AE fan and know my size to be 9.5E.
Why aren't E sizes being carried in this drop? D width is to narrow for my foot, and EEE is gigantic. Really disappointed that I can't get a pair of chukkas from my favorite men's shoe store.
McAdamsandwichI'm new to mass drop, so I don't know what 511 last means....but I own 5 or 6 pairs of AE shoes from slip-on loafers, to monk straps, to boots. I am a size 9.5E in all of them. I have wide- flat feet, so the extra width from the "E" fits my foot perfect.
IronheadjackGoogle Allen Edmonds Lasts and you can match which pairs of shoes you own from AE to the last to see if you have any shoes in the 511 last, if you do then you will know whether or not it will fit, and it you don't then you can always size up to a half size bigger in the D width and hope it will work, each AE last has a different foot shape after all
KresterzJudging by their website the Dalton dress boots I have are 511 last and they are true to size for me. 9.5E just like my Strandmoks, my Chelsea boots, and my Moras.
IronheadjackJust went to AE store on 44th St. and the lady confirmed Dundee was 511 last. Found out my AE size in Snuff Dundee was a 9D. 9 is my usual size anyway so I'm hoping it's TRUE TO SIZE?? (I'm hoping this unlined version will be the same size-wise but maybe not as comfy)
KresterzI'm a tad bummed out that they aren't offering E widths, I really like the middle walnut-ish color. It is what it is but I really love AE shoes and that color would look great in my collection....damn.
