Maybe I missed it below, but why are E widths not being offered? What's the rationale for B, D, and EEE? Mostly self-interest here as I'm an 11.5E in AE 65 (or 5) last and an 11E in the 108 (or 8) and 234 (or 4) lasts. I suppose I could try an 11.5D or an 11EEE in these, but not sure I want to take that risk.

Brp2The more sizes we add, the more complex the order becomes, and as a result production time and cost go up. This is one of AE's standard size runs that they use for many of their limited-run shoes. Offering B and EEE gives a narrow, normal, and wide width. It covers the vast majority of people without having to offer 2-3x the size combinations.

KresterzIt's a very uncommon size and AE doesn't include it in this size breakdown.

IanAndersonIan:
I tried on D and EEE widths at the local Shoebank and the difference was huge. I can't imagine there are more people with EEE than there are with E or even EE. I'd love to get in with a pair of these, but the 11.5D is too narrow. The 12D fits ok for width but is too long. The 11.5EEE is enormous. They didn't have an EE to try, but that *might* have worked. None of the available options do. Under normal policies from AE I might be tempted to see if an unlined 11.5D would work since there are free returns, but under Massdrop policies I can't take that chance. I'm writing all of this hoping you'll add E-widths to the next run. I know of several other folks who are lamenting being in my situation exactly and would have otherwise ordered...
