congalongGood question - yes, it is full tang, the rear bolster is welded on to the tang at the back of the handle. Normally you might see rivets through the handle to indicate this, but we used a single piece of G-10 to make the handle extra durable so the tang is hidden.
congalongfull tang is no longer a designation of good quality. It was for European blades 50 years ago, but advances in design and metallurgy make it a marketing term only. Japanese blades have been "rat tail" or "hidden tang" for centuries and no one would ever question their quality
