Personally, I'll take the rather subtle Massdrop logo over all the somewhat obnoxious branding ArmourLite normally plasters all over the dial. I have several Traser and Ball watches with T25 Tritium and love them, I'll jumping all OVER this one.

LakeTravisTotally agree. When I first saw the comment on the logo - I thought "what logo" as I had only glanced at the watches & hadn't noticed the logo.
IMO - great improvement over the traser original. Getting older - I like a clean uncluttered watch face with obvious hands - one that I can tell the time on 5 feet away, never mind at the end of my wrist :)

LakeTravisI didn't even realize the logo was there. I thought everyone was complaining about the one milled into the back which wasn't making much sense to me so I went back for another look. I totally don't mind that. Some watchmakers have such atrocious logos and, despite sometimes having really nice designs, the logo kills the watch for me. I never understood why watchmarkers had to use the same version of their logo every time even if it totally clashes with the design they were going for. I understand the concept of branding but at least come up with a really simple logomark or, in the case of what Massdrop did here, make it incredibly subtle. Plus, Massdrop helped design this watch in a collaborative effort, are the exclusive retailers of it (and aren't your traditional retailer), and personally I never minded their logo on products they sell.
Anyway, I think the price is pretty impressive too. I've looked online before and finding a titanium watch, let alone one with a titanium band for not really all that much more, along with tritium illumination and a simple, elegant watch face is pretty rare. Reading the post, when it said under $500 I thought the reveal was going to be like $499 in which case I probably wouldn't be interested on an impulse buy. But $250 is pretty reasonable given what the competing watches out there sell for., so I think I might be in on this drop (haven't decided yet) And I happen to find the blue/blue one to be my favorite so as much as I sort of wish I wanted a titanium band at $40, I love that look and I really like NATO straps since heavy watches are not my thing. I tried to wear my Submariner for a year, really tried, because I love that watch but I couldn't get used to it even after a year. Tried with a NATO strap before and it is nice, but I tend to just wear it out now.

LakeTravisI wish they could have compromised and went with an "MD".

GaleForceTotally agree. This is a fantastic watch at a very reasonable price - Ti, T100, sapphire, clean design and a very modest size/thickness. I don't understand all the complaints about the quartz movement - perfectly acceptable, and frankly preferable, for many in a watch of this type. I saw the blue face (already have a black Armourlite T100) and considered my money gone. Until the logo. Honestly, it's so subtle I missed it at first glance on my small screen. Now it's really bugging me. What to do?
