I love the fact that Massdrop took opinions from the community and turned them into a solid attempt at a first MD created watch. This being said, while i find the quartz to be acceptable (even if it is a low end movement), what is NOT is the logo on the watch. Personally, I will not purchase a watch if the brand is on the watch and is not a reputable brand. Which, as much as I love you all, massdrop is not. I hope MD takes this into consideration in their future products. Perhaps placing “MD” instead of “Massdrop” would have been preferable to more people.

macz0211Or let the item sell itself by word of mouth...ridiculous I know.

macz0211Nah, they shouldn’t have any logo attributed to them on this dial. Caseback would have been fine.

macz0211I agree, the "massdrop" logo killed this drop for me, no matter how unobtrusive. True also for a number of recent knife drops. Get your creatives together Massdrop and forge a simpler, more visually appealing logo for branding on your collaboration products. Here's an example. After losing interest in this drop, I got an email from countycomm.com reminding me of their limited-production Maratac SR-35 Diver Automatic Watch (Black DLC - X1). Only 150 pieces produced, limited to 1 per customer, Swiss Super-LumiNova Grade X1, and...DLC!!!! The remaining stock sold out rapidly after a subsequent email announced a 10% sitewide discount to celebrate their 27th anniversary. Sweet deal at $323.10 shipped. Should be on my wrist in a few short days.

Look at that beautifully simple logo on the face of this awesome timepiece Massdrop! Come on, you can do this!
