Resoling?
Has anyone been able to send their shoe back in for resoling? I am running into problems. Carmina apparently uses their New York store to send them back to Spain for repair. The New York store says they can’t help because there is manufacturing documents needed for customs to send them overseas and back. MassDrop is offering no support either. They claim they have nothing to do with old drops and will not work with the company.
I am going to see what I kind find out. But I would appreciate if anyone else has any information they can provide.
This is a great shoe. However, the entire point of them is to have them resoled. The description even sold them as such. It is dishonest of both companies if they will not be support the repair of normal usage. If this cannot be resolved, I will not be supporting Drop or Carmina ever again.
I have another pair of Carmina shoes in the Rain last in size UK 7.5E. I am quite confused how that translates to the US D, EE, EEE system? Since normally to my understanding the next width up from E is F, then G
tonyniFrom my understanding, the standard width for Carmina is EE, followed by the wide EEE and the narrow D.
Based on the description, if you're a C (Narrow), D (Standard), and E (Wide), then you have the option to choose your width accordingly at checkout. However, if you have extremely narrow or wide foot then these would probably not fit you. Everyone's foot is different so your mileage may vary.
bryanljsThis is not correct for this drop. Please read the details on size. Carmina E, EE, EEE are US C, D, and E widths. They do run a little generous based on my own pair. Standard Rain is a D, but they refer to it as EE. I know it’s confusing but they do spell it out in the description and I do own a pair to confirm.
DirkDiggler88I actually purchased a pair of Carmina wholecut oxfords from Baltzar for $350 a few weeks ago. I was a bit hesitant since I've never heard of the site and the price seemed a bit too good to be true, but they arrived quickly and in perfect condition so I'm happy I took the chance!
DirkDiggler88but they dont come with shoe trees like it does here... so just depends on if you want this style or other options. also look at gentlemans footwear for their carmina selection
