I’d like to expand upon some points of this shirt. Buttery Soft Dress Casual Button Down Oxford This shirt is a non-starchy, well-fitting shirt for guys that live in casual dress clothing to pair with chinos and jeans, and maybe, a casual blazer. It’s not a formal dress shirt, though it’s made in the best shirting sources in Italy and is of impeccable quality. The fit is developed by an Italian master tailor and is very well proportioned, so it fits in an extremely easy, comfortable and flattering manner. Sizing Alpha-sizing (S - XXL) is typical of more casual shirting options from a wide range of brands like J. Crew, Bruno Cuccinelli, APC, LL Bean, Comme de Garcon, Taylor Stitch, Salvatore Piccolo and Ralph Lauren. If you are more familiar with numerical sizing, please see the measurements chart. Our shirt is also pre-washed. Many new shirts - and yes, those with very exacting numerical sizing - have never touched water, which means shrinkage and stretching,so sizing usually  shifts. When Tintoria Emiliana washes our oxford they both soften and sanforize (preshrinking process), and the shirt never changes in size. The size you get is the size you get for the life of the shirt. If you’re questioning a size, US customers can return or exchange this shirt in new, unworn condition within 30 days of delivery. Collar Our collar measures 2.5 inches and can be found in most clothing brands. When it comes to men’s clothing, there are many collar sizes and collar types to choose from: collarless, tab collars, 2” - 4.5” collars. Our approach here is to offer a modern collar size. I hope you’ve found some of this information helpful. This is really such a comfortable and well-executed shirt  - I hope many can enjoy this it’s incredible value!

I think that most men just don't know--or care--about "dress" clothing. They don't like wearing suits and ties, and aren't particularly fond of anything more "dressy" than a golf shirt. I mean, this is the era of oversized sports jerseys, men wearing cargo culottes, and wandering around in flipflops with socks. They simply don't know what the difference is, and this is compounded by retailers who either don't know, or try to take advantage of that lack of knowledge. We would all be better if we strove to lift up, rather than cater down to.

OrtepThanks for saying this. Agreed on so many levels. I'm all for lifting up - covertly or with friendly nudge. As far as style, I have enjoyed lots of different phases - Saville row, SoHo jeans, overcoat and Chelseas - 1920 Italian country side - denimaniaco and more. These days, I vacillate between Paninaro & Dover Street . Hopefully - we all can bring something to the banquet and pass the plates.

I'd be using this shirt for super special occasions and vacuum sealing it after every use.
Why would you pay a hundred bucks for an Italian shirt that only comes in s, m, or l? Why not make it available in real shirt sizes ie 15 1/2 34/35
CanaryBurgundyNOOO - You didn't list xl in your alpha sizing.

Proper Cloth is about the same price and they will remake your shirt twice based on your measurements. Might be a better choice for you! That or Charles Trywhitt which has classic, slim, extra slim, and super slim in addition to collar and sleeve choices for significantly less. Sure those shirts aren't made in Italy, but we're talking cotton here, not wool.
this collar looks like a WalMart, Macy's, JCPenney...shirt, damn $99?

In this price range I expected MOP buttons at least
DexnazoidButtons are sprayed mother of pearl which is much more resistant than mother of pearl.

I was pretty excited by the email, but realised that this doesn't have classic OCBD detaild like a third collar button, locker loop, and a generous enough collar for a collar roll. No mention on collar interlining either plus the shirt fits slightly large for my neck size. Hard pass but great effort.
