What is the length and width of the square that can be enscribed in the inner parallelogram? The corners of the Parallelogram become deadspace when below 25" width.Does it fit a 25" x 78" full square sleeping pad? also what is the height from ground to tarp at the corners of the 25" x 78" pad area?
I really like the design. My initial thought was you fixed your issues th the Saddle and Stratospire and improved to a more modern material.
Greg2Thanks Greg! Addressing the downsides of the StratoSpire was a big goal.
The image below is perfectly to scale and shows a 25" x 78" pad. If you chopped off the triangle areas at the ends entirely, just the rectangle that is left would be 28" x 79". So a 25" pad could be up to about 82" long and still fit.

I'm not entirely sure what the inner height is at the corners of a 25 x 78 pad because the geometry to answer that is a bit complex and would take me a while. But the end walls are pretty steep so it's quite useable. The corner at the corner of the fly is a bit sloped (below left), but the end wall at the other corner (near the pole, below right) is getting pretty close to vertical, and this would be the corner at the corner of your large pad, so the length is very useable. You could easily have two folks hang out in here. Here is a picture from inside:

dandurstonThanks Dan, the inside picture and the diagram explain exactly what I was looking for.
