Hi Dan! Great looking tent, I’ve joined the drop! Couple of questions if I may? 1) is the expected ship date correct? 2) how would it go in mild snow conditions? thanks!

srthomas01Thanks for the support!
1) Yeah. The manufacturer needs a while to make these because they build tents in large batches and they're used to having 6 months or so of time to build them because that's how the major brands they usually build for work. So the tents might be a bit early, but I can't promise that. The manufacturer is used to deadlines (they've been building nothing but tents since 1952) so I'm optimistic it won't be late but ultimately can't say that for sure either.
2) No troubles in mild snow. All of the panels are steep enough to shed snow well (whereas many lightweight tents have relatively flat roof panels). And in soggy slush snow the fabric won't sag because it's polyester rather than nylon. I think it would handle several inches of snow quite well.
