I'm 6'6", do you think I would fit well in this tent?

blendergasketThe tent accommodates folks up to about 6'2" without any pushing on the inner mesh walls even if they are on a thick pad, fully stretched out and using a sleeping bag. Someone who is 6'4" tends to push lightly with their sleeping bag if they fully stretch out and then at 6'6" you'd be pushing moderately on the mesh if you slept totally straight (side sleepers tend to be in a slight fetal position so they are shorter). The X-Mid has a generous gap of 6-7" between the inner mesh and the fly walls, so you need to push on it a lot before it gets pushed into the potential condensation covered fly walls. So basically if you're a side sleeper you'd fit fine, whereas if you're a straight sleeper then you're sleeping bag would push moderately on a mesh but not likely to the extend that it touches the fly. In general, the mesh end walls are quite vertical so you don’t lose much length with a pad. But a sleeping bag does add a fair bit of length if it’s a warm one, which is why a 75” person comes close to filling the 86.5” length.
