I also got mine today. The build quality isn't quite as bad as has been mentioned: they are mostly plastic, and they definitely don't feel premium, but I don't feel I need to be overly gentle with them. I'd prefer stronger plastic construction given the cost, though. The wood is barely noticeable as well, feeling like it's just a faceplate on the plastic cups or something.
Very initial sound impression wasn't very good. Then I switched from listening to Madeon to listening to some DnB (MRSA definitely made an appearance), and I've transitioned into other music and now back to the Madeon track I was listening to and my impression has improved. This track was a bad choice initially—it's pretty bass heavy, but that's really accentuated by these headphones—but coming back to it after getting a feeling for the headphones changes my impression.
As I've listened, the soundstage has expanded a bit. It's not a huge soundstage, but it's not the worst I've had. These really highlighted how wide the soundstage on my Westone 30s (also bought from MD, which can't stop selling me headphones) is, since I came to these directly after using those. Again, the track I first listened to colored my perception of these: it has a very much centered bass track, which makes the soundstage sound shallower than it actually is.
These headphones are pretty bass-heavy, but that's not a problem for me. A few years ago, when I was just getting into higher-end (as in not the very cheapest I could get) headphones, I thought I wanted neutral sound, but I've since realized I like having a tuned sound (and a bit of a focus on the low end in that tuning is a good thing). These are *more* bass-heavy than I'm used to, but the bass isn't (normally) overpowering.
Having tried these out for a bit, I think they may be my new desktop headphones. I was using my ATH-M40xs for a while, and last week I picked up a pair of AKG K240 Studios that I haven't used a lot yet, but these are light, comfortable, closed-back, and sound pretty good to me. If I want a bit less of a bass focus I'll go back to the M40xs or the K240s, but I'm pretty happy with these sound-wise.

rjm1Overall yes, but they probably could have done a bit more in terms of build quality. When the plastic parts feel like they belong on $10 headphones, the rest of it feels cheap too.
