I am thrilled to announce this collaboration with Minnesota-based Enlightened Equipment. The Revelation Quilt is the most recommended sleeping bag/quilt in discussions and polls, and the most requested Ultralight item on our site. So if you're looking to get a quilt, this is the one to get. The unique design closes securely at the footbed to avoid drafts, is tapered around the legs to keep them warm, and is larger around the torso to keep you warm in your favorite sleeping position.
Compared to the original EE Revelation, here are a few changes we've made: 1) 15 denier fabric throughout, which we find to be the most desirable denier. It is a little more durable than 10d and a little lighter than 20d. 2) 800-fill down. The cost premium for going to 850 or higher is significant in a 20 degree quilt or sleeping bag, and the weight savings is fairly small.  3) An additional 5% of down fill, which is mainly to keep the down from migrating over years of use. 4) Free shipping to US and discounted international shipping
And for those of you wondering about quilts and why you would choose one over a sleeping bag, here are my thoughts: It's as comfortable and warm as a sleeping bag (assuming you wear appropriately warm headwear) but without the limiting factor of a set size (claustrophobia much?) or the weight/bulk of a zipper and down underneath you. I started using a quilt 14 years ago and I couldn't imagine going back to the confines of a sleeping bag. My whole family uses EE quilts for backpacking, car camping and travel.
We have had a few drops for EE quilts before, and they made our own Massdrop quilt. However, capacity was always a limiting factor, which meant our members kept waiting and waiting for the next drop. And so we have spent the better part of this year searching for the highest quality manufacturing partner that could produce up to our collectively high expectations. These quilts are manufactured in the same factory that makes the top-end sleeping bags for the best Japanese and American outdoor brands, the same stuff that you'll find in REI. These are made according to the exact same specifications as all US-made EE quilts.
For our members who want a different EE quilt, you can still order any possible combination of fabrics, colors, temp rating and down fill on their site in numerous models and styles. Some items are pre-made while custom orders are usually take 2-4 weeks, and US shipping is under $15.
Thanks for your votes, requests and comments - this has helped us bring this collaboration to life.

DannyMilksDo we know if there is any sort of tag changes that will help us to differentiate these from the EE quilts made in the USA, when they start to show up in the used gear forums in a few months?
