Love the knife. Anyone know the angle of the grind for sharpening purposes?

bryan.bellI am quite sure that someone knows, but I am not numbered in that group. I would guess 17 degrees would be very close. S35VN will support a steep grind.

bryan.bellSame inquiry... !! I’ve got the Lansky Deluxe, plus an additional 2000 grit Lansky stone for it, and leather strops, plus compound. Ready to go!

bryan.bell Well, I don’t have the angle answer, yet, but there is an absurd amount of information and material on the Lansky system, on YouTube! ... confident we will find what we’re looking for, there, but I’m going to email Ferrum Forge, anyway.

14themoneyHey ! This reply came from DougFLA123, 4 days ago; “I wrote to We Knife Co (who made the Buc) and they said they usually sharpen their blades to angles of between 25 and 30 degrees (each side of course). I know Zero Tolerance blades are sharpened to angles of between 20 and 22 degrees. I guess it depends on how slicey you want it.” Best... 👍🏻 Onefreeman
