Very very stiff detent, makes the knife a pain to flip open and close. And since all sales are final, there is basically nothing that can be done. Be careful before buying from here, if you don't like what you get you are stuck with it.

NimbusdeluxeIn case it's any consolation, a strong detent may loosen up with repeated openings.

NimbusdeluxeTheres no excuse for this, most people who are ok with this detent problem are just trying to justify their purchase. I have owned many frame lock flippers of various price ranges and have never experienced a detent like this. It is a function/design problem.

NimbusdeluxeMy guess is, as is in my case as well. That you and I have bigger hands, and are putting a bit too much pressure on the lock-bar, while flipping the knife open. Just to test this, on your knife. Hold the knife with two hands once. So you have a good grip on it. But make sure that none of your fingers are on the lock-bar, or on the pocket-clip at all. Then flip it open. Feel the difference? It's much easier then. So we just need to learn to hold the knife one handed, a little differently, while flipping. Having bigger hands than some.

wickettTrue, and that's why I normally buy 8.375" knives. 👍😀🔪🍺

NimbusdeluxeA detent only goes softer with time and use. So don’t worry. In 4 years this will still be the most EDC’ed knife you’ll have.
