+1 vote for a deep carry pocket clip, I missed the first 400, so with 27 days left I'll wait to see if any changes towards the deep carry clip come about. Nice price on good materials, but the amount of exposed handle on a relatively small knife makes me nervous. also, it's just easier to carry without drawing much attention. Fingers crossed the others that have mentioned a deep carry clip will show others having the same thoughts. Maybe a deep carry clip option? I'll pay a couple of extra bucks for that option. Otherwise, short of just putting it in the safe, i doubt id carry it, though otherwise I like everything else about it. If it just isn't a possibility, I'd like to know that as well. Thanks for reading this far. ;-)

Ryan28801I agree, I'd pay extra for a deep carry clip. Or even make it a separate drop if it causes an issue with this one.

Ryan28801Either a deep carry clip, or a revised model with such an aspect in mind and I would be sold on this knife. I like to carry it as a tool, but since they make some people nervous I vastly prefer it to be nearly invisible (as well as then not brush against things as often) when going out and about.

Ryan28801Maybe WE/FFKW could offer them at a later date, maybe make a batch and sell them? If that's not economically viable Massdrop could set up a drop for them or allow people to opt-in a few months down the line.
A warning though: the Falcon's design seems quite finalized, so it's entirely possible (and probable) that an alteration that large isn't going to happen at this stage. I'll be happy with a normal clip though.

elneroI have a knife maker friend, he is going to make a batch for a few people we know, (deep carry clip) if I can talk him into making more I'll let everyone know.. hes an established maker, sells on Knifecenter exct

MDDogeI just talked to him, he asked me for a count on how many people would be interested in just a basic titanium deep cary clip.. he also wanted to know how many people would be interested in a more exotic (nothing is set yet but maybe like a Mokuti or Timascus style)?

elnerogoogle Mokuti, look at the images, its basically like titanium damascus, "Timascus" would be another option, they are very similar, that was an idea he had given me... sounds like hes willing to do a "standard, titanium 3D milled or bent deep carry clip AND/OR he was going to do an option for a "upgraded" clip Mokuti or Timascus again 3d milled. Obviously the 2nd option will cost more. I have asked him to give me prices, and i guess it REALY depends on how many people are interested. it can vary wildly depending on if hes doing 5-10 or 25+..or more.

ViajamesI'd be interested in Moku Ti or Timascus, though of course the price would factor in. Count me in for a regular 3D milled clip though.
I don't think there's much of a difference between the two. They're both 2+ different titanium alloys layered then colored with heat. Timascus is a portmanteau of titanium and damascus, and Moku Ti is mokumegane (a Japanese layering technique) and titanium. Both also look fantastic ;)

ViajamesAhh ok. Those look nice but on a such a clean design as the Falcon, I think having anything too busy would take away from it but something simple that adds a bit of color could be nice.

elneroI see what you mean. I'd be torn between adding a splash of color and keeping it clean. If only a regular titanium clip was offered I'd be fine with that.
