I have the rosewood scales. The original pocket clip didn't seem to match so I got a custom one from MXG. Gent Haiku Great steel and nice shapes. Very affordable, too. You will be happy.

upfrownThe one pictured is a titanium deep carry clip for the Spyderco Manix 2 from MXG Gear. There are several styles that will fit the Gent that you can choose from. The clips are bigger than they look on the MXG website.

upfrownI'm not sure if they're the only ones that work, but I can attest that this one fits perfectly and the finish looks great with the stonewashed blade and liners of the Gent select.

14themoneyI'm biased, but to my eye, the new clip makes so much more sense on the Gent than the original one that it's kind of a surprise and a shame that they didn't go with something more like this. Every other aspect of the knife is so well thought out. The width, ramp and spring tension of this MXG clip are perfect for suits and slacks. It distributes the weight of the Gent over a more even footprint so that slacks don't crease or wrinkle under it.

FhujsaI suppose that the only question is do I order it now or wait until the OEM clip becomes damaged. I think I have worn slacks several times this century. I had this in my flannel shirt pocket this evening. I was helping at an event my church participates in. It didn't sag the pocket.
