Oil is largely personal preference these days. 3 in 1 will work fine, as will nano oil if you wanna pay for it. I use TUF Glide on my knives cuz I have had a bottle forever.

Jonnyz67Well it guess it depends on how fast you use it. I know mine didn't last a year when it busted and lost about half the oil that was in it but had already bought the bigger 1 oz bottle.
