For those of you who are going to use the lanyard and bead, how are you attaching them? I can't figure out a method i like.

chaos_aboundI did a snake knot on mine. Really helps with the grip too

chaos_aboundI used my own purple 425 paracord. I tied some snake knots and a regular diamond knot. The idea was to get the big knot right under my pinky so I could use it for grip. This arrangement is a little too long so I will probably shorten it by one snake knot loop.

awkI love that snake/diamond knot combination. That is exactly what I thought of after seeing the thin cord and beed. But in a hurry to see it on, I just did a quick whip knot, (or is it a hangman's noose knot?). Who noose? Noose me. 😬

chaos_abound I did the same as chaos and used snake knots to braid the lanyard cord. I'd also recommend snugging up the lanyard bead between the third and fourth knots so you can hold onto it with your little finger while you use the blade. In total there are 8 knots; two snake knots before the bead, and four more after it. The final touch is a regular old square knot to keep the cord from being undone, and lastly, I used a lighter to melt the ends together.

snotrockitI got the knife to match my massdrop mini flashlight, which I keep on my keychain... the lanyard bread was more useful than expected! (Used my own Type A cord, and tied triple-wrapped overhand knots on each side.)
