FundinTry the Matthew Walker knot. It’s not too difficult, is very symmetrical and looks nice with one on each side of the bead.

FundinYeah man, the copper rot looks soooo good. I'm getting blues and purples over the copper color and its looking better and better each day. My brass is just taking a beating and looking battleworn which is still a neat look. As for the knots, try the 2 strand wall knots. You should have enough string to make a set of 3 knots before the bead and 3 more knots aft the bead.
