The price is right for not being %100 merino wool, how do these socks stack up to darn tuff socks.

SajorHow do they stack up in what manner? Darn Tough makes hundreds of styles, colors and thicknesses. Both socks are made in the US using roughly the same blend of merino wool, nylon and lycra. These have more stretch and arch compression at a cost of about 1/2 or 1/3 of Darn Tough.
There are very few markets available from any company that are made in the US that use 100% merino, because the thinnest wool is too fragile for the high-friction use (like that used in socks, underwear and base layers). Usually some amount of synthetic fibers are added for durability and faster dry time. Socks are in particularly high-wear location.
This is a bit of a digression, but some budget companies use synthetics to lower their material cost, like some big store "merino" blend baselayers that have like 9% merino content.
