onurkaThere are very few socks made of 100% wool, even though that sounds ideal. Truth is that Merino simply does not stand up to the pressure and abrasion well. 100% merino shirts and boxer briefs will get holes, and socks even faster. So, just enough synthetic fibers are introduced to provide a longer lifetime (and with the side benefit of quicker dry time). Fitsok, SmartWook, Icebreaker, Darn Tough - all use a reasonable amount of synthetics in their majority-wool socks.

DannyMilksIt's true. I understand why the QQ but the nylon/polyester is necessary.
Its like Yin and Yang. Only one side isnt the right way. Need a balance of both to get it right.
