Is it me or these socks feel a bit too tight? I wear size 9.5, and I ordered the L. I've been using them in day hikes of up to 8 miles, wearing a small backpack. This week, I'm doing a backpacking trip. I'm really curious on how my feet will fell after 11.5 miles in one day.

LeoKauaiI also find them too be too tight, based on past experience and I now order XL with a shoe size of 8.5 to 9 and find that they'll fit comfortably if I order XL. Otherwise they're fantastic socks, so comfortable and long wearing I only buy from them and the Darn Tough brand Massdrop offers.
