KeeferAmazing. How did you do that? I'll follow up with a PM and get you a replacement pair.

DannyMilksThese holes happened from normal tennis shoe wear. Nothing heavy duty! No activity!

KeeferWow, that really is crazy. I've got no benefit from saying this, but mine have been nothing like that. I cycle through about 9 pairs daily and mine have held up great.

KeeferThat is wool for you. I love cashmere socks, but they do not last. Those hurt more as they cost $100 per pair. That said, there is nothing like cashmere socks.

SkipPpThat's not really a problem associated with wool. That's a problem associated with poor quality. In fact, the quality wool socks I've owned last much, much longer than any of the cotton or poly socks I've owned.
I have had wool socks from Darn Tough, Costco, and Smartwool that have lasted years and years with heavy usage and no holes.

KeeferI'm afraid that my experience with this brand of socks was the same. I used them for a few normal hikes in the Adirondacks in N.Y. - 4 to 5K ft peaks and mine looked the same. Two other brands of socks that were purchased at the same time I still use after 3x or more hikes and they are still going. Had I noticed these socks were being sold on Massdrop I'd have posted my experience. I'm glad others will read about your experience.

SkipPpI've got wool socks that have held up for years through plenty of abuse. Darn Tough and Icebreaker's have yet to fail and a few of the pairs are 4-5 years old now.

SkipPpI haven't tried Cashmere socks but I bet they're amazing!
Lightweight 100% wool socks would wear through quickly, which is why most brands have moved completely away from pure wool apparel. However, these socks, as with Darn Tough, Icebreaker and Smartwool, have enough synthetic fibers in the blend that they are much more durable.

KeeferI didn't mean to offend, but I'm 6ft, 220 lbs and workout 2-3 times a week. I form holes in my socks within 3 months, so it was a genuine question. Plus, I don't think i've ever seen holes form on the heels of socks, only the balls of feet area. If we were similar in any physical characteristics, it could help my purchase. I thought I was pretty cordial in my comment. @MikeMD I think this is a beneficial comment thread if you're willing to "un" moderate the comments.

rdaly02Thank you for reaching out Ryan and taking care of business. I love the sock, just didn't have much luck with durability. I just sold a home in the Raleigh/ Durham area and will continue to support NC and Fitsok.
I will be in touch.
Thanks Again

rdaly02I just wanted to post my follow up experience/wear issue with Fitsok. I called Fitsok, was put in touch with Nathan, one of the company's owners. He kindly told me how to order replacement socks through the website and they would send them out to me.
The company has a great warranty and KNOWS how to take care of customer service. In no way, did I think I would be contacted by company representatives and offered replacement socks after my initial post! When I made my post, I was just sharing my experience with the socks as I never do reviews or follow ups with personal product experience. I'm glad I did.
Thank you you for taking care of business FITSOK! A first-class outfit.

KeeferWow, I have had one sock fail on me, but nothing remotely close to this. I was rather frustrated considering the price per sock/pair, but this is on a completely different level of disappointment. Other than the one sock thus far, they have been quite satisfactory.
