You can buy the better Focal Clear for $1250 or less if you look hard for a deal. At that price, you get the nice $150 case, better overall looks, more comfy ear-pads and slightly longer cables. Is the $300 worth the sonic difference, comfort and having the cans to enjoy now? Instead of April (which likely means June)

BillyChiu.comPoint me to where I can get them for $1250 and I am all over it .. lol :D Can not even find a used pair. :)

Also, call around to authorized Focal dealers. They aren't allowed to post prices below msrp $1500, but some are willing to sell for $1250 if you call in.

BigAinCAHis most glowing review of a headphone in some time. He seriously thinking of replacing the other Focals with the Clear in the Wall of Fame. To my ears, the Clear is great, much better than the Elear but still not Utopia like. IMO. I use all 3.

i_want_all_the_tacosI would not recommend buying it from anyone but authorized dealers. You don't get warranty with third party.
bgbktHah I just replied to you in the head-fi thread. I agree with you that you should not buy from unauthorized dealers, but my point is that it is possible to buy it at $1250 from AUTHORIZED dealers. I will not say names as that has implications. But there are definitely dealers out there open to making deals, they just can't publish them. And even Moon Audio did something similar a few months ago with Elear/Utopia by selling "open box" items, which are essentially new but the opened them up to be able to sell them at discount and include warranty.
