Hi everyone,
With the positive community response around the Elex, we’ve been able to work with Focal to add more units to the end of the initial production. We will likely be able to open up a couple of limited quantity drops over the next few months.
The first of these runs will launch tomorrow (Mar. 6), with 125 units. The estimated ship date for this production run is May 7.

Is there any 3.5mm plug cables available for the Elex so I can connect to portable DAP (current drop comes with XLR & 6.35mm plug cables).
Thanks
John

Appreciate the quick reply.
Cheap priced cable, but is it cheap SQ. Assume most would feel if going into a DAP then not needing an expensive cable.
Not trying to disagree with your link, as a great price, just unsure if there's a better cable available with improved SQ or is the NEOMUSICA cables just a bargain for the SQ.
Cheers
John
Celts88Did you bother to read the user reviews? In any case, it's worth a try at the low price. Don't equate high price with good SQ. That's not always the case!

You've got a very abrupt way of posting - “Did you bother to read the user reviews?” 1) Yes I did read the reviews on Amazon and found them very helpful
2) I had given a thumbs up to Emoji as I appreciated him supplying the info
3) Agree for the price the Neomusica cables are a great choice, and not much of a risk if not the right SQ
4) I was only looking for advice from other users in regards to 3.5mm plug cables, as they may have experience with them
5) The only headphones I own are Ultrasone Edition 8's (I also have a pair of IEM's - UE900's & Westone W30's), and don't have much experience so was only looking for some advice.
Hope the above clarifies why I asked my question, enjoy your weekend :)
Cheers

Thanks for the additional link, definitely a BIG jump in cost (at least half price of the Elex).
Will give the Neomusica cable a try as not much cost so nothing to lose.

Celts88I was not trying to be abrupt. I was only trying to point out that this cable has extremely positive reviews (4.8/5) from both Elear & Clear owners. If they're reporting no difference as compared to the stock Focal cables, the results should be the same with the Elex.
I've already ordered & received my set & the fit & finish are exemplary for a $17 cable. It's immediately obvious that the cables were made with the Clear in mind due to the silver finish on the covers. I will live with the silver even though I wish that were finished in all black to completely match the Elex's. What I'm not willing to do is spend 25% to 50% of the cost of the headphones in order to get a 3.5mm jack. Everything else I've found has been a minimum of 10x the cost of these cables.
FTR, I also have a Neomusicia replacement cable on my 25yo Sennheiser HD 25's. Even with the inline remote & mic, they sound better than the stock Sennheiser cable.
MaverickAHSometimes emails/posts/etc. can come across harsher than face-to-face, unfortunately C'est la vie
I'll certainly give the Neomusicia cable a go, as you say cheap for the price so why not try (and given the reviews on Amazon). Do you mind me asking which cable you're talking about being silver in colour, as the one's I see on Amazon are Black (most of them):

AveryCThe rest of the world want this too, why is Europe not in on this?
It's made in Europe or at minimum half designed there, so it's a little funny @AveryC :) Help us out!
HutmacherI think Europe users will have to spend the 1000€ because they can, but while in US style market, they want to push their product. I was looking for this Elex eagerly, but I have dropped they idea of getting it
Metalstef84You're probably right - but we can't get this exact product, whit out going through third-party :/ Anyways more money to thomann.de, because my hunger for some new gear doesn't disappear because of Massdrop/Focal's setup :)
