JustFluxzNot unless you get them used. And even then, people aren't marking them down very much. They we're priced higher initially but the cost was reduced later on down the line.
jaydunndidditHow much was it originally? I really want to try out these headphones as it seems like the cups are deep which is perfect for my ears that sometimes touch the sides in most headphones, plus it has removeable cables. It checks off many major factors for me.
JustFluxz$799 originally. This is the "cheapest" Focal but the Elear does dip down to around $650-700 new every now and then. Otherwise, the Elex is the best budget option of their current premium sets.
jaydunndidditI have Beyerdynamic Amiron Home and a Sennheiser HD 700 so it isn't that I don't have great headphones, its just that they don't meet all the criterias I wanted in a headphone, but the Elex appears to make up the best from both sides, from what I have read. What I probably will do is wait a few months, and pay off my PayPal Credit, and then use that for deferred interest on these headphones.
ludachrisCheck my profile. What's not there, I also have Shure 215, 535, 846, Audioquest Nightowls, and a Campfire Vega on loan from a friend. A lot of my other sets I've already sold off.
