hello massdrop, pls pls make a possible next drop have a detachable cable á la TH900 mk2. imo, at this pricepoint (and well below) the alternative is not an alternative, so to speak.

slipperyThe Massdrop x Fostex TH-X00 series of headphones will not have a detachable cable. This has been discussed at length in the various discussions for these headphones. If you want detachable cables you should go with the Fostex TH-610.

Has anyone tried modding the Mahogany or the Purplehearts through Etsy? I'd love to know if the sound quality/signature remains unchanged through this mod. Also, would ebony, being more dense, be harder to mod than the Mahogany cups?
