I know there has been a lot of negative discussion about these but I disagree. I think the HE-350 are a terrific bargain at the price and the sound is excellent. Of course, these aren't the HiFiman 400S headphones but then again they don't cost what the 400S cost either. Buy 'em, try 'em and if you don't like 'em, you can always sell them and get your money back - no shortage of buyers at this price.

I have a Sennheiser Momentum II Over Ear edition (no wireless!), it cost almost the 3x. Is the sound quality 3x better? No! So I can just agree with starling2k.

I do not own any AKG headphones. Do not know what are they preferred frequencies and lvl of them. What I can say that som of my music collection songs are better on the Momentum but some of them are better on the 350. It's a question of taste and prefarred music orientatio.

Just about all of them from one time to another - the Sennheiser HD580, HD600, HD650,HD598, HD598, HD558 Beyerdynamic 770, 880, 990, Sony V6, V7, 7506, HiFiman 400S, Grado SR60, Sr80, SR125, SR225, Philips Fidelio X1 & X2. Koss Porta Pro 4AA, Pro 4S, Koss Phase /2 . 0It's my experience that sometimes I will put on a pair of headphones and think I don't like the sound but if I continue to listen for a while on different types of music, some grow on you and you start liking the sound. I think my first set was the Sony V6. I chose those because an old edition of Consumer Reports rated them #1 and stated that they were the most accurate headphones they had ever tested. They also stated that the response was flat or a true, accurate sound of the original source. They then stated that the response was so accurate that many people would NOT like them because most people doing the test commented on the upper highs being to much, even saying it was exaggerated; most preferred a rolled off top end. I remember listening to the Sennheiser HD580 the first time after reading about them in Audio Review. I thought they were horrible - no upper range whatsoever at least that was my thought at that time. I couldn't believe people were going on so bragging how great these headphone were (580) so I tried them again but manged to listening to the for a couple of days. They grew on me and became my favorites. Later, I got the HD600 and love them too. I can go back to the Sony V6/7506 and at first don't like the sound but as a listen for a while it kind of just settles in and then I start loving them again. The headphones that I loved the best and think that they were my all time favorite were the Koss Phase /2 headphones. They were like putting a tank on your head but they had switches on both ear cups that allowed you to switch from normal stereo to bin-aural and also adjustment they called "Ambience Exspander" with adustment wheels on each ear cup that allowed you to adjust the ambience from 1 to 10 on each side; the result was that you moved sounds around in your hearing for instance the lead guitar may be coming out of the left channel but with the adjustment wheel you could move that lead virtually to anywhere on the stage - they were great fun to listen. They were incredible in sound. The death of them I guess was that it really never caught on widely and Koss stopped manufacturing them. I believe the reason was more about the weight and clamping force. If you listened to an album, you felt like you were weight lifting with your head and trying to make your skull more narrow. This is probably way more that you wanted me to reply but it's just been my experience. I have found over the years that I can fall in love with a number of different sets if I go on more than one date with them - kind of like my experience with women... Happy ear experience to you. I hope you will enjoy headphones as much as I have. It has been a wonderful sonic journey experience. Take care.... Starling2k
