I cut craft felt circles.. 4 layers.. one that'll fit in the receded area where the driver cover is.. one will go on the back side of the pad under the hooks that clip onto the headphones and two layers on the other side where u put your ears.. the yellow is a stiffer fabric so it sits better in the receded area.. hope this helps some of you guys.. Lso I'm running these either off my fiio e17k/k5 combo or I use that combo as a DAC to my schist valhalla II or my musical paradise m-301. Tubes can help add some warmth to these cans..

Kyung-MinAny changes to sound ? What are your impressions after modding ? I bought the angled earpads, they did improve sound (And confort !!!) but I'm open to non-permanent modding suggestions :D

ATragicEndingThis modding sacrifices clarity and sound stage to reduce the shrill, it's a tough trade off since sound stage is pretty much the major selling point about this cans...

btbtbtmakiU can still hear the detail.. u do lose is say maybe 10-15% depending on the track but the highs are to harsh without modding... I'm working on other stuff to see if I can eliminate the harshness and will post any updates I have.. also I have thicker and thinner felt I use..
