Three more weeks, and I STILL haven't gotten anything (DAC/Amp) to plug them into; I should really get on that.

SomedudemanI'm no expert. but I think these headphones will give you enough loud volum, and the (amp/dac) will just increase the clarity and eliminate the noise.
for 100$ low impedence headphone, it is not a good idea to get 300$ amp/dac stack. unless you want it for future headphone. then it is worth it.
I agree , there are many good stack options , but make sure the amp has a switch for low gain output, just like the magni, to work well with low impedense headphones with less noise.

Am22It would be more for the TH-X00's i have on order but these should benefit as well to some degree even with low impedance i would think. I am no expert either but even with my little portable FiiO DAC/Amp combo i notice a huge difference with my old Denon D2000's which are also very low impedance.
