asianfromamericawell I guess then you are looking for closed ear headphones to block out outside sound, and for oomph you probably want something with deep defined bass.. for good bang for buck you might look at audio technica ATH-M50 or M50x which are amazing value and stupidly cheap second hand especially
asianfromamericayou can also get velour earcups for the ATHs, but really headphones are a personal choice. good to listen to as many as you can to find what you like
asianfromamericaeither is great, I think the only difference is the detachable cable on the x ..might be worth it if you don't want a coiled cable and want a specific length for your gaming position
baesexThat is really a perfectly valid question.
There are headphones that are good and bad for gaming. Open backs (like HE-350) are usually better unless you're sharing room with someone else.
HE-350 cannot be compared to M50 on any aspect, it's a much better headphone.
Giving out bad/uninformed advice isn't doing anyone any service.
EcneIt was a strange question because of the wording and lack of info, but when the dude went on to explain he wanted oomph and immersion it def sounded like open backed was not what he was looking for :)
How good are these for immersive gaming on games such as Skyrim and the Witcher 3?
