uncolouredfruitLook up reviews in youtube. HE 350 bright and high trebles just enough bass but not heavy bass meanwhile emu purplehearts are dark, a lot of bass , with drowned trebles. I only have the HE350 , I didn't buy the purpleheart because of the dark signature.

carmelgigzI can assure you that the purplhearts are not dark. You could not possibly have them because the first time they've been made available to the public (Massdrop exclusive and the first drop is ongoing or just surpassed its time limit) is not complete yet and nobody has received their units.
I don't own them either (as nobody really could at this point) but I do own their predecessor, the Creative Aurvana Live! which are nowhere near dark. They have a very mild bass boost, but not so much as many other cans (less extreme than ATH-M50X, which is supposedly a studio monitor, for example). They are quite smooth and very detailed. The trebles (tribbles?) are certainly not harmed by the bass.
Where did you hear that they are dark? You need to double check your reviews if that's the impression you got.

HeeftyYoutube review, I prefer bright headphones and not bass heavy. Z reviews done one but I will wait for other headphone drops (I know other people don't rely on his reviews but listening in his demos help to differentiate headphones even if it isn't as accurate). As I stated before I only have the Hifiman HE350, I never stated I own the EMU PH. I might buy them in the future if they have better plastic, they said it is flimsy. Thank you for giving me an idea in comparison to the Creative Aurvana Live headphones.

carmelgigzIf you like bright, they're probably not for you. They are fairly neutral with a warm tilt, but still not lacking in detail. If you're into treble monsters they may leave you wanting though.
Zeos doesn't seem to like hearing bass, so it's not surprising that he'd call them dark. They are not that though.
