My 4XX are 2 1/2 months old now are past the burnin time. I drive them with a Cowon Plenue 1 and 4XX is a very satisfying combination with 16 and 24bit. I also find 4XX to be sturdy and to perform reliably great in a wide range of conditions and temperatures without its case. (Ditto for the P1) Make certain that you have an hq DAP and/or DAC&headphone amp that will comfortably drive 4XX for best results. Add my vote to the performance/value at this price.
