Okay so the craziest thing happened today. I've been debating whether to buy these headphones or not and I just happened to look on Kijiji (not sure if Kijiji exists outside of Canada) and found these headphones for sale. I messaged the seller and within a few hours I have them in my hands. He said he ended up buying two by mistake. He didn't realize until after he was charged by MD. I paid him what I would have paid anyways given exchange rate, shipping and customs which was $300 CAD. Now to try these babies out. :)
EDIT: Okay so at least on my head these are too big. There is very little clamp force which means all the weight comes down on the top of my head. Plus I have them at the smallest head band setting and the ear cups seem just a bit low on my ears. As for sound they are pretty good. I still prefer the Sennheiser sound signature over the 4XX but I've also not had enough time to break in the 4XX. If there was more clamp and a smaller head band I'd enjoy these more. But they do move on my head if I bob my head around. The Sennheisers fit so much nicer for my head compared to the 4XX.

Mark_MMaybe you could pad the top of the headband with something like the ZMF pilot pad? Saw someone even put a padded seatbelt protector on one. Could in effect make them tighter plus not come down on your head as much perhaps? Just a thought

chrollsThanks for the suggestion but I ended up selling them. It's not the first time I've bought headphones which ended up being "too big" for my head. Guess I just have a small head. lol

Mark_MOh no worries. Much as people talk about this technicality and this treble peak and such, at the end of the day it all comes down to just trying them for yourself
