Anyone else have problems with the pads coming off?
I've used these extremely lightly (~2 dozen uses) and took them on one business trip in my laptop bag, to find that the pad was coming completely off w/ the inner foam fully exposed. It appears the adhesive holding the pad to the can is that cheap stuff you see companies use holding credit cards to your paper in envelopes. Not really happy about it but I'm sure someone else has run into this.

depositoryYou can buy hifiman pads directly from hifiman, or from amazon. If you go for the cheapest velour pads (£8 in the uk) they come with the plastic disk inserted rather than glued on. This isn't much help if you had no intention of changing the pads though, but now that you probably do go for those pads just to get the removable plastic ring. You can then use that ring on 3rd party pads, such as ZMF Ori or whatever. Hope that helps.

FriedEggDefinitely a big help! Thanks for the suggestion! I'd rather change the pads than have unusable headphones :P
