Will it be possible to customize the lights based on what's happening on the computer, like with the Logitech rgb keyboards?
(eg, light up attack keys when they're off cooldown)

nekoI don't think it will easy to configure it yourself because the keyboard api will have to fetch in-game info. It will be possible to let the keyboard light up random colors of choice for email notifications and other realtime states, but fetching a certain info from in-game to light up colors isnt easy, or even restricted. Maybe you can find out at other sites how the logitech software fetches the in-game infos and in which files you can find them?

XenoPingu6 months to look into it and program a solution to it for the games you play. Something I'd be interested in doing. Although I don't think there would be much of that information available for the only relevant game I play (Overwatch). If there is, this is definitely something I will try to do.
This would have to be done independently for every single game though, so it will likely be not worth it for most.

CamboI found a third party kit that enables several brands of rgb keyboard to interact with ingame information: https://project-aurora.com. Go to the help section, there you can find informations about the tool and link to the forum and tool developer if you want to request for them to add K-Type support. The tool itself doesnt seem to be recognised as "hacking" by the game developers but using it is probably better than tinkering yourself to get banned. Overwatch is in their supported list, now you need to convince them to have the K-Type on it too.

XenoPinguTheir code is open source so I could just add it in myself. Easy. Cheers for that. I'll definitely be working with that over the next few months when I have time and i'll push it to them to merge it if they like.
