Mr.Dr.SirIll put it this way, you shouldn't not buy this keyboard. I love it and it is my perfect keyboard paired with my carbon SA keycap set. If you are looking for a non-standard layout for keys or maybe an ISO layout configuration, dont buy it. It is only standard layout with ANSI configuration. You can swap keys due to the hot-swap tech they built it with so you can do whatever you want. It really is a beast of a deal and a beauty of a keyboard.

Mr.Dr.Sirwell the world could end before november, you see the there are too many people on earth and the way gravity works is that it pulls everyone and everyone pulls it, so if you have 7 billion people all pulling on gravity this would cause major pressure. Now it is believed by scientists that the poles are going to shift very very soon, they say that nothing is going to happen and that we'll not even feel it, but just imagine the entire core of the earth just shifting, it's like turning off gravity and turning it on. If my calculations are correct then we are experiencing a major polar shift right now, it starts out very faint, then accelerates very rapidly repelling each other. Just like two magnets. Now as you would imagine the gravity will be turned off and on, this will of course have major implications on the world, I would say that this shift would trigger several tsunami's around the world especially in China where Aluminium is made and plastic is transported, thus hindering shipments, Now one very important thing to consider is that the earth as we know it is flat and a major shift like that would make the water fall in opposite direction. This means that water will be poured into the earth instead of leaving it causing major sea level rise.

Mr.Dr.Sirthe only reason you shouldnt buy it is if you dont have the money, if you have the money than you should 100% get this board, this will be the only run where they are serialized so it is something that if there is any want for this board in your mind you have to get it.

Mr.Dr.SirFurther possible reasons: - Too small, i.e. no numpad - Too big (my reason - I don't like bigger than 75%) - Not ergonomic - Not split - Staggered rows

Mr.Dr.SirAll subjective of course, but: - Standard TKL layout - Programmability which matters little with a full keyset - RGB everything - Low profile case
IMO, they only real reason to buy this board is the presumed nice build quality and the hot-swapable switches, which is probably a feature people will end up using much less than they anticipate.
IMO this board is in a weird spot between consumer and enthusiast.

Idef1xI'm in this drop for two reasons, the "new" switch hot-swap features (notice that they look better than holtites?) and the new Halo switches (I went for the Halo True)

RichardVBesides which, hot swappable switches and the promised later drop mean you can also try the halo clears at a later date, which is what I'll be doing with the halo trues.

Mr.Dr.Sir The keyboard itself will definitely work with Macs, but in my experience, transferring programmed firmware to use with macs is best done with a PC. I don't trust dual-booting into Windows using the same driver-dependent OS that runs a different kind of computer. Others say that the transfer should or does work perfectly, but it hasn't for me. Things that shouldn't go wrong did.

TheSkeletonIt should because everything is programmable via the app. The challenge might be the USB C connector.

Mr.Dr.SirI answered your question twice while in transit over the past few days! Each time, my train entered a tunnel or dead spot just as I was sending my response. That usually doesn't matter, but the latest version of Firefox for Android has been freezing on my S7 Edge, and all of the words were lost.
Here's the short version of my answer:
Two or three of the keys might or might not be dead to the MacOS depending on what Input Club chooses to ship -- whether they choose a standard cross-platform configuration utilizing all of the keys for Windows, MacOS and Linux (in which case you'd learn to transpose Options/Alt and Cmd/WinKey when typing, which is incredibly easy), or a configuration like the one with which The WhiteFox shipped -- one that wasn't practical for mac users until they utilized the key configurator and transferred their own programmed layout.
If I were you, I'd find a friend with a PC (unless you own one yourself) who would be willing to transfer the layout you create or choose. I'd also watch for an upload by a fellow Mac user if you don't feel confident about using the Key Configurator.
Here are the instructions:
https://input.club/configurator-setup/
Here are some posts about using the configurator with a Mac (note the ones involving Karabiner):
https://input.club/forums/search/macOs/ https://input.club/forums/search/OSX/
As more people begin to use their K-Types, you'll see more uploads of configurations you might find useful.
