Coming from cherry mx browns, what would be comparable to those, or at least be one of the more quiet switches available? I was about to pull the trigger on this keyboard with the halo clears.
Also I will be replace the keycaps pretty fast, I'm not a huge fan of white keys, anyone have any recommendations for black/dark colored pbt caps that are shine through? Thanks!

J.LoweHalo Clears will be heavier. You may want to stick with the "Brown" switch option.
As far as keycaps go, these are out of stock currently but are a good choice when they're available again- https://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=1329

J.LoweJust FYI, I tried a set of Ducky shine-through PBT keycaps on my k-type, and the result was problematic. There was minimal illumination of the legends on the Ducky caps, meaning that, if you wanted to actually see the legends somewhat clearly, you had to bump up the backlighting to the point where the illumination around the keys was blinding. The stock keycaps are different, in that the illumination level between the legends and the surrounding areas is balanced, and you can see the legends very clearly on the lowest brightness level.
Unfortunately, I had to put the stock keycaps back on, since, with the Ducky caps, I had to choose between seeing the legends and being blinded, or setting the brightness to a reasonable level and not really being able to see the legends. This was a shame, because I preferred the look of the Ducky caps and much preferred the feel of them.
If anyone tries other shine-though keycaps beside the Ducky ones, I'd be very interested in the results and if they let enough light through and feel less rough than the stock keycaps.
