Eyeing these powered speakers out! Thinking about pairing the JBL SR30X's with an Oppo Sonica Audiophile DAC & Network Streamer thru the XLR outputs. I know this would make one hell of a killer set up for a little over a $1000. www.oppodigital.com/sonica-dac/

PoiPounderIf you don't mind the bulk of the OppoDigital Sonica DAC, it's the best sub 1k DAC with amazing features and Sabre Pro38 implementation. Those guys at Oppo know what they are doing and they don't take you to the cleaners. I would pair the speakers with a good XLR/TRS pro based sub, you can get great pro subs below 500$, for example JBL LSR310S, Yamaha HS8s, Fuild Audio FX8s, even Monoprice sub with a 10 inch, 200W amp for 220$.
