Question, is there any advantage of these over the JBL LSR305s that they are based off of? Because the LSR305s are only $20 more right now from Amazon with 2 day shipping. https://www.amazon.com/JBL-LSR305-Professional-Studio-Monitor/dp/B00F1DEI8G/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&qid=1464797915&sr=8-1&keywords=lsr305&linkCode=sl1&tag=zeos-20&linkId=6559315a4b7dd30d041980fd9880100e

CokemanI bought a set and currently waiting on them. I had the same dilemma as you. What made me chose the the 30x over the 305 is that the 30x are drivers are matched so that the speakers play with a lesser difference in volume levels. They also come with those anti-vibration feet. The 30x are also glossy vs the matte 305, which I don't really care for. But the gloss will likely show fingerprints and dust. Supposedly the glossy is a more "luxurious" finish, as it takes days and many layers to do the gloss correctly.

Helieosbut the issue here is massdrop lists them as 449$ MSRP, when they are 298$ on amazon... and their base price is 319, so volume drops them 40$ from base price, but ends up only 20$ from amazon?
this is not a deal, unless you think 20$ off and some rubber feet is a deal..
