How do these compare to the audio engine b5? Are these reference style bookshelves or are they more for enjoyment of listening to let’s say rock/hiphop(I know there’s no sub)

RareAirs The JBL 305x are what is called near field studio monitors being more directional for critic sound reviews but because the JBL 305x has a wider tweeter dispersion guide, it could be used as such. It is a studio professional active speaker not a consumer based active speaker like the Audio Engine b5. if you are a musician or person interested in music production/analysis, those speakers would be of great interest to you.
