why are these speakers overprice? Shouldn't it cheaper than amazon. I though we are suppose to have a discount from Massdrop. Wassup Massdrop. Up your game. Give us a better deal than this.

flintrockThis isn't on Amazon. The LSR305's are on Amazon but this is the LSR30X's. They're pretty much exactly the same except for a glossy lacquer finish as opposed to the matte and the guarantee that both speakers are matched within 1dB, instead of the usual 5dB match for the pair. You're mainly paying the same price for that matching.

TanvirK175Now you are just playing with words. If it's the same speakers, same drivers, and the same sound quality, it's the same. Maybe you see the difference but I don't. But I do hope Massdrop show us much better quality speaker then this one. Something like svs ultra or sl 50 or even better speaker system.

flintrockYou're free to your opinion and I respect that but driver matching does matter to some, albeit a niche market within an already niche market. That doesn't stop anything from happening though. I'd be content with wearing one of those Dora or Spongebob watches found in cereal as toys or in a happy meal, yet there are watches that are tens of thousands and even hundreds of thousands. The fountain pen industry caters to a niche market as well. I had people look at me like I'm crazy cause I spent over $5 on a single pen. Nevertheless, I hope they do offer better quality speakers for you and others. I'm okay with these for now but maybe I'll upgrade in a few years.
