Hey guys, I've had the Klipsch Promedia 2.1s for about 4 years now. Since these are at a very good price is it worth it for me to upgrade to those? I honestly want to know how these both compare sound wise.

SegaGen3sisI didn't have "Klipsch Promedia 2.1".But base of it's set and size I think if you want a strong bass or watch movie more, maybe just keep your current speaker. If you listen music more, maybe it's worth to upgrade. The LSR305 is intend to be a "nearfield studio monitor".Which means it's still get good enough bass but not as strong as typical speaker with sub(sub isn't always good for accuracy if implement in wrong way). However it will give you more detail, great response and soundstage. Also you will get a sound close to what the mixer heard when produce.
p.s."nearfield studio monitor" usually need little more space and distance than ordinary 2.1 system.

yukoJust what I was looking for, thank you! Also what would you consider a solid upgrade from the promedias? I like them but sometimes I feel the base is too strong compared to everything else.
