Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. The stock wire that came with the headset is extremely long and yesterday it annoyed me very much that it kept getting tangled with itself, so I decided to see if the cable is replaceable. I pulled out the cable from the headset and saw the adapter, and looked online for a replacement. Upon plugging it back in, the audio sounded extremely muffled and washed out. Im not sure what I did wrong to make it mess up like that as I've always taken good care of it, ive had it for about 2 years and its always just been chilling on my desk, but anywho I thought the cable just went bad and ordered a replacement. The replacement came, and the issue is still persistant, so I am not sure what the issue is I've tried multiple different headsets and the issue is not with the port, and I also tried it with my windows laptop and...

I plan to just hooking mine up to my Audi-GD NFB-11's RCA outs so I can use it with my Speakers or headphone with the flip of a switch. It should deliver fantastic audio. But you my desire a cheaper solution. It all depends on how much your willing to spend. There are probably far cheaper solution that will deliver good results, But I already have the unite so it's a no brainer for me.
I'm sure other can offer a solution that will get the job done and be easier on the wallet though the Audio-GD is a bargin for what it delivers.
But if you have to go out of your way to hear it and you happy with the sound otherwise, just don't worry about it and enjoy.
I was planning to Scarlett 2i2 or Scarlett Solo for the speakers. Will I need other cables to connect my speakers to the Scarlett audio interface or can I connect these speakers with the cable that comes with it by connecting it through the headphone jack on the Scarlett ?
It's my first time buying all these types of stuff, so any info will be much appreciated haha!
I do recommend though that you get an audio interface or DAC, because in my experience the audio quality degrades if you plug the speakers into a port originally meant for headphones, likely because the signal is going through an unnecessary headphone amp.
If you buy an audio interface like the 2i2 (although I prefer the Steinberg UR22), you will need two 1/4" TRS to 1/4" TRS cables. Make sure that you get TRS, which is balanced, instead of TS, which is unbalanced.
If you don't plan on using XLR microphones, I recommend saving your money and using the O2 you already own. You'd need two RCA to TS cables.
As also mentioned If you do not plan to use an XLR mic with the 2i2 then maybe skip it and get a quality DAC (or DAC/AMP) or if you already have the O2 then just get the cables linked below to connect them to the LSR30X.

You'll want to pickup a DAC to get rid of that static hiss if you plan on keeping your computer as your audio source.
