I'm having this low static sounds on my speakers, I was wondering if this is normal. You can hear it clearly if I put the volume up to 8+ (when there's nothing playing) which is way too loud for me. I put my speaker volume around 5 and I can only hear the statics when I put my ears close to the speakers when there's nothing playing. Currently, it's connected to my motherboard. I was wondering if getting a audio interface will help?

KITTYMy guess is that's it related to you on board audio. On board audio is usually not very good. If it's bothersome you may want to look into an external solution.
I plan to just hooking mine up to my Audi-GD NFB-11's RCA outs so I can use it with my Speakers or headphone with the flip of a switch. It should deliver fantastic audio. But you my desire a cheaper solution. It all depends on how much your willing to spend. There are probably far cheaper solution that will deliver good results, But I already have the unite so it's a no brainer for me.
I'm sure other can offer a solution that will get the job done and be easier on the wallet though the Audio-GD is a bargin for what it delivers.
But if you have to go out of your way to hear it and you happy with the sound otherwise, just don't worry about it and enjoy.

RojasTKDI see, I appreciate for the tip. Quick question...
I was planning to Scarlett 2i2 or Scarlett Solo for the speakers. Will I need other cables to connect my speakers to the Scarlett audio interface or can I connect these speakers with the cable that comes with it by connecting it through the headphone jack on the Scarlett ?
It's my first time buying all these types of stuff, so any info will be much appreciated haha!

KITTYTry to plug them just to power outlet and remove all audio cables. My normal JBL 305's always make low static noise. It appears to be "feature" and changes to audio source wont fix it.

KITTYYes the cable that comes with these speakers would work. Just keep in mind that the headphone jacket on these models are 6.5 mm while the cable that comes with these speakers are 3.5 mm. You would need a 3.5 mm female to 6.5 mm male adapter. However I would recommend getting two balanced 6.5 mm (TRS) cables instead and connect your speakers to the back panel of the Scarlett. The advantage would be that they are balanced (cleaner sound) and being much thicker they are much more durable.

KITTYThe noise you hear when you put your ears close to the speakers, with nothing else playing, is created by the amps inside the speakers - it's the amps' noise floor. Unfortunately, there's nothing we can do about it.
I do recommend though that you get an audio interface or DAC, because in my experience the audio quality degrades if you plug the speakers into a port originally meant for headphones, likely because the signal is going through an unnecessary headphone amp.
If you buy an audio interface like the 2i2 (although I prefer the Steinberg UR22), you will need two 1/4" TRS to 1/4" TRS cables. Make sure that you get TRS, which is balanced, instead of TS, which is unbalanced.
If you don't plan on using XLR microphones, I recommend saving your money and using the O2 you already own. You'd need two RCA to TS cables.

KITTYAs other have stated if you go with the focusrite scarlett 2i2 get a pair (L & R) TRS cables and connect them to the rear outputs of the 2i2 to connect to the rear of the LSR30X.
As also mentioned If you do not plan to use an XLR mic with the 2i2 then maybe skip it and get a quality DAC (or DAC/AMP) or if you already have the O2 then just get the cables linked below to connect them to the LSR30X.

KITTYMost likely your motherboard, this static you're experiencing is why people get external DACs.
You'll want to pickup a DAC to get rid of that static hiss if you plan on keeping your computer as your audio source.
