ricekrispysThe matching speaker is $399! Unless I'm getting there for studio work, I'd rather put that into a SERIOUS sub from SVS for my home theater for that kind of of money (it will get me part of the way there anyway).
Last night I ran a splitter from my NFB-11 to send the signal to my monitors (M-Audio AV40s until the JBLs arrive). Not perferct as there no crossover for the Monitors, but still sounds soooooo much better even with a cheapy Acoustic Audio sub from ebay I got like 6 years back (actually a decent sub for the price).
ricekrispysthese were my first jbl speakers and for me the sub was worth it cause my son works at Harman-JBL and gets a hefty discount. the sub definitely makes the system sound more complete.
