THESE DO NOT COME WITH THE PROMISED CABLE. " MassDrop said the cable would ship separately and then said it's back ordered and then didn't say when it might ship.
They're still advertising this as though it came with the cable though.

3.5mm TRS to dual ¼-inch TS cable". This is actually a sort of unusual cable. Most cables that you will see on Monoprice or Amazon as 3.5mm TRS -> 1/4 inch TS actually have the fork at the very end, so it's 10' from the 3.5mm as a single cable and the forked part doesn't give you any separation for two speakers. You could buy a separate splitter and separate cables to go to each speaker, but you're starting to add significantly to the cost and each junction can add noise - especially in an unbalanced cable. And the various adapters/cables kind of busts the deal.

MaxRockbinMy cable was shipped today when I contacted customer service. You can get really high quality RCA to XLR cables from Monoprice for 5 bucks each. Frankly, these are a smoking deal even without the cables. I just hooked mine up to a headamp with the Monoprice cables and ordered two more sets, one as a gift and one for my office.

I, however, went with these, because they were cheaper and have very positive reviews. Plus, since the source is unbalanced, the difference between TS and XLR is moot. I haven't received the speakers yet, but I received these cables already and they are very well made. I don't know how they can take so long to ship a damn cable - almost a month. Considering the discount on these speakers versus the cheapest alternative with an actual return policy is maybe $50, it's starting not to seem like such a bargain.
