Do the magnets interfere when the monitors are being used close to computer screens and other electronics for extended periods of time?

HeavyboxerThank you! I probably should have known but I tend to avoid having a magnet near any piece of electronic, even modern. Though, when I was a kid I liked "playing with the pretty colors" by moving a magnet over our CRT tv.

ifohancroftI remember being told by my professor back in the 90s about not having magnets on a pc case. If that was for HDD, then since many are moving to solid state, that point would also be moot. Strong enough magnets would still affect fans somewhat, I would imagine. But magnets in speakers within enclosures should not be THAT powerful unless you've got 15" subs mounted outside of the enclosure right next to your pc.
