StevenacresI know exactly how you feel. I was so excited when the renders came out. I really, really wanted a set with a calmer / laid back color tone. Unfortunately the actual set turned out to be pretty much the opposite of what I wanted. I am really disappointed..
Thanks for putting those 2 images side by side. I'm going to use it whenever I get around to selling this thing. I want to make it clear to the future buyer what they're going to get.

kristopherI'm also disappointed with the final colours. What drew me to this set were the retro-looking muted colours. That said, I still like the caps and now have them on my Code. They are a big improvement on the caps I already had on the board, just not what I was after. So I'm still in the market for a properly muted keycap set.

StevenacresThanks for posting this! I wish I would had seen it before I bought but good to see Im not the only one that thought they looked different then the renders.

As many others here have mentioned, two plum colors are way more saturated than they were originally marketed as. The keyboard market is flooded with very saturated, high contrast sets, so something with a little bit of desaturation was great to see--unfortunately it didn't turn out that way. And that's not to sell the keyset short, or the amount of work that Jessica and others put into making this happen, I'm just here to tell people who are considering buying this aftermarket that it will be different than what you were expecting.
I've attached a reference photo here to directly compare a (IMO well color-balanced) photo of the set to a render.
